I am surrounded by stupid people

Yep, a community of people that are clueless. I am amazed at the responses of some of my "colleagues". After sitting down and seriously discussing a subject these individuals will turn aroiund and screw up the whole idea or design. How is that possible?
I think in part the issue issue that the people have been part of a covert inbreeding study by the government. It has to be. The individuals grew up in this town, went to school in this town, and work in this town. They know not of the world so to speak.
New ideas escape them. Figure it this way. When discussing broadband with them, they interpret that to mean running your internet connection at 56k. And wireless? Gorsh, you can use your computer without wires? Duh. I know. And note, this was sent via blackberry. When I use it in public I feel like I am being watched like a freak show at the county fair.

Gawd, it is 5 o'clock somewhere and I need to be there now. What a beach.
